Leadway Product Details of Warranty and Receipt


Upon purchase of Leadway Item a warranty will be issued as per the terms and conditions of sale below.

Warranty with 1 year (valid only for motor, battery, PCB boards, electricals, ect). Valid for 12 months from the date of payment. The warranty is a full warranty not a partial warranty and this means if the unit breaks down within 12 months of legitimate use then Leadway will supply all parts required to repair the problem.


To Claim the Warranty


You need to make a video of the problem


-If Leadway staff conclude the consumer has broken the unit then he/she can still get the unit fixed but will be responsible for the shipping, labor and part costs.


-If Leadwayau staff conclude the device itself is faulty then a warranty will be honoured.

If the issue is concluded to require electrical mechanical intervention Leadway will pay for all parts required to fix the problem. Leadway will pay for all parts required to get the unit fixed provided it is apparent the unit has not been abused in anyway and the case is reasonable. Leadway will ship these to you, the client. We will also provide access to a contracted agent who is able to operate on the machines in Sydney. We would then pay for the required labour to get the unit fixed.


Terms and Conditions


-Item deviation of appearance may occur as with production model body style can vary slightly from the pictures shown within this site. Specifications will always meet those stated within.


-The product will arrive without a user manual in the box and you may obtain a user manual for your product by emailing sales@leadwayau.com


-Leadway does not process payments to third parties such as nominated shipping agents for any reason. If you want to use a nominated agent then you must process this payment yourself. 


-We currently have a 7% surcharge for AMEX transactions. Visa and MasterCard have a 1.5% surcharge while we do not charge for direct bank deposit transactions.


-You will be responsible for shipping the item to your closest technician for repairs and we can ship the required parts to this technician free of charge. 


-You will use an approved helmet, elbow guards, knee guards and wrist guards when using our products as appropriate. We advise not to use our products without consideration of the use of a range of safety items especially  concerning the use of the electric skateboard and PMD. Knee and palm guards are recommended when learning to use the PMDs.


-You understand shipping can take up to 15 business days


-You will be aware that some states require the installation of a simple bell on our PMDs for legal use on public footpaths. You will need to check your owns states regulations prior to using our device in public spaces.


-In the case of replacement parts they are shipped directly out of China it will usually take approx. 10 days from the date the issue was brought to our attention to get these to our technician. It can take up to 15 business days.


- Purchases made from Leadway are shipped out of China. We are not registered with ASIC as a local business on the Australian public registry and as such you the buyer may be liable to local duties and/or taxes over and above the purchase price you pay to us. We are simply an entity which carries out its marketing in Australia and do operate inside the known principles of Australian Consumer Law which entitle consumers to a full repair of any device deemed faulty within 12 months of use. We always offer a repair of any given faulty device as due to the distance from our factory to Australian consumers it is almost never economically viable to offer either a replacement or re-fund. You will find our prices are generally more competitive than any local distributor who offers replacements and refunds and as such you should come to understand and carefully consider the kind of compromise you are making when dealing with our business type. 


-Batteries have a limited warranty of 6 months with rest of product components being 12 months. 


-You need to check local laws regarding usage of our products in your jurisdiction.
